Lazy, hazy Sunday

A very casual start to the day.

The usual suspects turned up, and it was decided (after reading tea leaves, RASP, XCskies, consulting local witch doctor) that the bleeding obvious was the answer. Inversion, hazy and no point starting till after 12:30.

Poita Plunkitt and eye were at the back of the grid (save the best for last), ignoring George, of course.

Tried to do Pittsworth, Millmeran and return, but it was all down between Allora and Clifton. Piked it! Outlanding was not on the list for today.

So, local was the go. Just looped around the greater Warwick area, trying to do as many triangles as possible.

Got to 11,000' down to the south of Lake Leslie, then tracked up to Maryvale, past the Killarney "sink lands". Yep! smooth and ALL sink, even on the western edge!

I had called it a day, when at about 16:20 I bumped into a thermal, just south of the airfield. Now it is a rare thing when you can park a BG in a thermal, and this one was it. I just had to take it to the top. It was just like flying one of of those glass things, almost cheating! Just sit back and bludge.

Oh, Andy did what I din't want to do. Let's face it. It was going to be either one of us.

At least we are both current. How about the rest of you?
